- Roll 3d6 in order for each attribute. If desired, you may invert all your stats by subtracting them from 21.
- Optionally roll a race. Otherwise, your race is human. Reroll your race’s prime attribute and take the higher value.
- Roll 1d6 Flesh, and add your Might modifier. Minimum Flesh is 1.
- Roll 1d6 Grit.
- Choose a class and a starting Skill at Rank 1.
- Mark your starting equipment in your inventory slots, as well as a torch, 3 iron rations, and 10d.
- Pick a name and describe your character’s appearance.
