You are a dog, with all the pros and cons that come along with that. You do not have hands and cannot speak. Your nose and ears are sharp, but your eyes are colorblind. You can climb inclined ladders, but not vertical ropes. Generally, you cannot carry equipment.
Your bite is a Medium weapon, dealing 1d6+MIG damage. Your fur provides 12 Defense. You may reroll your Savvy score.
Very Good
You have a human handler with 1 Flesh, 0 Grit, and 10 in all attributes. They fill 1 social slot. Your handler has a rough idea of what your various whines and barks mean, and will carry your equipment. Protect them; if they die, you’re out of luck until you can attract another in town.
Your social slots can also be filled with Followers as usual, paid for via your handler.
Sniff
Your nose is attuned to danger. WIthin 50 ft, you can smell evil and the undead. Within 5 ft, you can smell magic and poison. You can easily follow a fresh trail by scent. If you spend 1 minute sniffing a creature, you can learn the answer to 1 question about its habits.
Man’s Best Friend
In addition to NPCs, your social slots can also be filled with player characters, designated as Friends. Friends are not Followers, so do not generate Stigma when they die.
Friends have +1 Violence when fighting next to you. Additionally, if a Friend is out of control (mind-controlled, frenzied, afraid, panicked), you can nip them to grant an immediate Save against the effect.
Charming Wag
By wagging your tail, you can charm humanoids into becoming your Friend. The creature can Save vs Discipline to negate. The creature must not be actively hostile at the moment, and the effect ends if you or your allies does anything to harm it or its allies. While charmed by you, the creature fills 1 social slot for every Grit Dice it has.
