Rousing Chorus

Refresh your party’s Camaraderie by 1d6 with an hour of singing, story-telling, or good company. You can do this a number of times equal to the number of Skald Templates you have before needing a new source of Camaraderie. It removes 1 Stress.

Quick Learner

Your mind is a steel trap. You only need a single successful Test to improve your Skills, Tongues or Rituals. Start with 2 additional Skills at Rank 1, the Vulgar Tongue at Rank 1, or a random Noble Tongue at Rank 1.

Well-Read

Once per session, declare something to be true because you once heard it in a story. It must be plausible that this could be a detail in a story (new discoveries, minor details, and personal secrets are unlikely). There is a 50% chance it is completely true. Otherwise, you may only be partially correct, but you will never be catastrophically wrong.

Fast Talk

You are an expert blatherer, liar, punner, and trickster. You can persuade any number of people that whatever you are saying is true for 1d6 minutes, provided it is not obviously false. Sober, angry, and intelligent people Save vs Savvy to negate.

When the effect ends, they realize whatever you’ve been saying is utter nonsense. They’ll be very angry with you and immune to any future use of your Fast Talk ability.

Live to Tell the Tale

Once per day, you can automatically escape from something that is restraining you and that you could plausibly escape from. This includes grapples, lynchings, and awkward social situations, but not sealed coffins.
