You command a mixture of items in range (a soup, pile of coins, etc) to separate into [sum]+1 categories. The separation is slow, and hinderered by even the slightest effort. The categories must be clearly defined and identifiable by inspection.

For example, you could split a soup into “vegetables”, “broth”, and “poison”, or a pile or coins into “minted in the last century” and “older”. You could not split a pile of coins into “handled by the king” and “not handled by the king”, because there is no way to tell by inspecting them. You also cannot seperate “a locked chest” and “it’s contents”, because the items cannot flow freely into separate piles.
