Corpse liquifies as its fat is rendered into a black candle. When burned, the candle lasts [sum]x10 minutes, and disintegrates if extinguished. In its light, ruined, decayed, and destroyed things appear whole, tarnished and alive (if applicable). This is not an illusion.
Intelligent creatures revived by the candle only speak Chthonic, but are more talkative than they would usually be.
